Tea Party Baby Shower

This past weekend I hosted a beautiful shower for one of my best friend’s, Kershia and her sweet daughter Elliot, along side some of my favorite ladies!!! It was full of fresh flowers and vintage finds!! Take a peek below at our Tea Party Baby Shower!!

There is just something so fancy about vintage china!!! The mix of tea cups, doilies and pink roses never gets old!! I have two sets of antique china! I literally keep them on hand for party’s like this!!! I found both of them at flea markets and love keeping them on hand!!!

I also have a bunch of pretty dolies that I used to collect for making things out of. You can find these at flea markets and secondhand stores as well. I love the delicate look of them mixed in with my rustic decor!!

For the table centrepiece I started by layering all different dollies all the way down the table. I made the middle section slightly wider then the rest. I then scattered vintage tea plates and cups throughout. I tried to mix the patterns slightly as I went along. I then put a large white cake stand in the middle with the beautiful three tiered cake my sweet had make.

Next step is flowers!!!!! The more the merrier!!! Honestly you can never have to many. One thing I like to do though, is stick to only a few colors. Babies breath is also always so pretty for this type of decor!

We kept things simple on the food side with little pre made quiches and tiny finger sandwiches. Fruit trays, candy and adorable cookies with sweet baby Elliot’s name on them. The mimosa bar was shot and we made adorable signs that said ‘Momosa’ for a fun touch.

We added a beautiful balloon arch over the fireplace which made for gorgeous photos with baby.

We also picked up some pretty foil balloons at the local Walmart to spell her name with.

A shower is alway more fun when there is a game to play. We had a hoot playing The Price is Right with all the baby products. The winner took home a bottle of champagne. We used this printable for our game.

I hope you have enjoyed my Tea Party Baby Shower. It was such a fun afternoon with wonderful ladies. Do you have any good baby shower tips. I would love to hear in the comments below.
