The Search For The Perfect Salvaged Coffee Table
Now that the attic is finished, I am busy trying to find the right decor for the space. Like most of my decor in my home, I like to mix new elements with salvaged or unique vintage items that I have collected along the way! I was able to pull together the space quite nicely but I still hadn’t found that perfect coffee table. I wanted something rustic and not to flashy or feminine but that still made the space feel complete. The search for the perfect salvaged coffee table was on!! Below are some images from a few that I looked at before I finally decided on a antique Beaty wash stand base that I had on my front deck! Let me know what you think of my final decision in the comments below.
I honestly put this wash stand up there temporarily so that we had a spot to put our coffee mugs and such but now that it has been there for a bit I LOVE it!!! I don’t think I will be changing it anytime soon.
It fits the spot so perfectly and I love the airy feel it gives the room because it’s not to heavy of a piece.
Here are a few of the other options that I had in mind for the space. I loved this gorgeous table by Anthropologie!! It was a bit to formal for the attic space but I still did a double take on it when I was looking for something for this space.
This gorgeous reclaimed wood table from Pottery Barn was one of my top choices if I wasn’t going to use the wash stand! I love the iron and wood combo.
This reclaimed wood beauty from Houzz was very appealing to me because of the castors on the base and the shape that it was! It is a great price point at $223.99 Canadian as well.
This gorgeous all wood, pine table from Overstock was also a contender for the perfect salvaged coffee table. I needed a table that would fit with in the sectional that I have in the space and this one would have done the trick!
For something a bit different but still a beautiful salvaged rustic finish, this reclaimed wood, oval table from Overstock is a perfect piece! It’s also a pretty good price at $474.99 Canadian.
In the end, I am very happy with the wash stand as a coffee table. Below are a few more shots of the new table and space. I hope you enjoyed my post on the search for the perfect salvaged coffee table. Please do leave me a comment below.
